Pocahontas boasts a rich history dating back to its founding in 1830. Today, remnants of our past can be seen in our well-preserved historic buildings and landmarks, providing a glimpse into our proud heritage.

Whether it's our annual Easter Egg Hunt, the Annual PTO Color Run, City Wide Yard Sale, Fourth of July Fireworks, the Firemen’s Picnic and Parade, or the Radius Rod Car Show with over 150 pre-1949 “Street Rods,” there's always something happening in town.
