Pocahontas School Supply List 2024-2025
I am fortunate to be a part of a wonderful grade school here in Pocahontas. Pocahontas is a small tight-knit community that creates a supportive environment where students, teachers and staff develop strong relationships and bonds. Our small school fosters a greater sense of acceptance and understanding among peers, leading to a more welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. Pocahontas students have more opportunities to take on leadership roles and actively participate in various activities such as clubs, sports teams and community projects. The strong sense of belonging allows students voice to be heard and connected to their school community. The small size of the school makes the school feel like a second home. Teachers and staff value students first and cherish the meaningful interactions with students and know the names of everyone. As the building administrator, it is a wonderful experience working with such a strong staff. The meaningful interactions with staff and students allow opportunities for both student and staff growth. I am thrilled to work in a place with positive and enriching educational journey!
